Happy

this is Happy's story: At the age of two, Happy was caught and sold to a clothing factory in a village called Chiwawa. He was chained in the parking area for six months, but when the factory closed down he was left behind. For two weeks he had to rely on passers-by to throw him food. He was very thin and weak by the time he was reported to the sanctuary. After he was rescued, Happy was quarantined for one month and has now joined a group of other young vervet monkeys. Happy's name suits his character and he loves playing with his new family.
